Paul wrote to the Romans about the power of an intentional mindset:
"[B]e not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God" (Romans 12:2).
These words suggest that resisting unhealthy corruption in the world requires a personal transformation, beginning with the mind. If we simply let nature take its course, it will follow the law of entropy and degenerate into chaos.
Elder Paul D. Pieper explained how this is accomplished:
"We live intentionally when we think deeply about why we do what we do, and make the conscious and deliberate effort to incorporate our beliefs and values into every aspect of our daily lives.”
